Topic: Post- Traumatic Stress Disorder

Post- Traumatic stress disorder has an association with poor health behavior[MG1] . Which, causes people to develop cardiovascular disease. People that have a poor health behavior are those that do not exercise or those who do not take their medications properly. PTSD, poor health behavior and cardiovascular disease have a connection. Meaning that, people who suffer from post- Traumatic stress disorder impact many people financially because they are not able to get a good job. Since, having PTSD is what causes people to have a poor health behavior because people would not make the right amount they will not be able to join a gym and it causes a decrease in their medication adherence. Furthermore, people who has PTSD, they have a poor health behavior and since they can not afford to exercise or take their medications they develop cardiovascular disease.    [MG2] 

PTSD and Antisocial peers are risk factors that develop antisocial personality disorder. Adolescents who suffer from PTSD tend to develop antisocial personality disorder. How? I think they can develop this disorder when they are around peers that have antisocial behavior problems. [MG3]

People that have a condition of anxiety tend to blink more than when they are not anxious for that reason people who suffer from PTSD have an increase blink eye rate compared to people who do not have PTSD. They blink more when they were trying to see the threading images.

Patients with PTSD were tested by threading images. People that have PTSD have a poor attention. They were trying to ignore the threading images. As a result, when this happens, one part of the brain called the prefrontal cortex get active.

  • People with PTSD have more severe chronic pain compared to people who do not have PTSD.
  •  In this study they are trying to investigate the effect that PTSD have on oral health.
